Due to the deadly COVID19 pandemic, every crisis comes with deep challenges and risks in continuing education in schools. Almost all the world’s schools had to suspend classroom learning. Many countries are shifting to distance learning approaches through technology. However, the traditional method of online education is an inappropriate learning environment for more dependent learners among K-12 students because they must be well organized, self-motivated, and possess a high degree of time management skills to keep up with the pace of the course.

We look beyond the digitalization of traditional textbook for online learning, and look for better ways to re-conceptualize online educational experience with personalization & adaptive learning. We define the personalized learning as a part of an instructional approach which supports the needs of individual learners in more practical ways. For example, we assist K-12 students in presenting and discussing problems and ideas with a strong grasp of mathematical concepts and reasoning, in contrast to traditional approaches, such as improving test scores and achievements to a higher level. We also support the use of interactive learning environments to contribute to self-direction and critical thinking with personalization.

We plan to engage K-12 students in participating in our new online learning and to adapt a new curriculum based on personalization and interactive learning.
